After searching many websites for an idea and finding nothing suitable, my neighbors decided to come up with something of their own – inexpensive and original. However, the concept itself was born by accident, when they was walking through the market and came across a stall with photo wallpaper. It was exactly what they needed!
So, they bought ordinary paper wallpaper, glue, paint, varnish, brushes and a roller.
They started by thoroughly washing and degreasing the surfaces.
By the way, their kitchen used to look like this:
They painted the outside with black paint in two coats:
And inside – in a light green color. They also painted the shelves black and varnished them.
When everything was well dried, they started with the wallpaper. Their drawing consisted of four sheets, just for each cabinet. However, they had to be cut a little to fit.
After the wallpaper was glued and dried, they varnished it in two layers.
The result was this:
Everyone who comes to visit them stops by the kitchen and asks where they bought it. And when everyone hear that they did it by themselves, they can’t believe it for a long time and look at everything carefully!
