Plump lips are not trendy anymore: Female natural beauty is currently prioritized

Big lips are no more in trend. Freckles, thick brows and foxy eyes are trendy

It goes without saying that beauty standards, fashion and trends are constantly undergoing changes and what is considered trendy today can become old-fashioned tomorrow. As it turned out, big and plump lips are not in fashion anymore, instead, women’s natural beauty is appreciated.

So here are today’s trends with the basic rule – natural beauty is prioritized.

Expressive brows

As it was previously believed, thick and large brows should be made smaller and narrower. To correspond to this beauty stereotype, women constantly had to pull out their brows and handle pain.

Nowadays, thick and natural brows are appreciated more.

Attractive forms

As the standards of beauty and femininity are always changing, nowadays, attractive forms are more trendy and acceptable than thinness.

There is no need to say that each woman is absolutely beautiful and unique the way they are and, regardless of all stereotypes and trends, they should love and accept their own bodies and be who they want to be.

Today, even models with plus size are gaining popularity appearing in the center of admiration and becoming idols for millions of people.

Freckles

Previously, girls and women who had freckles always covered them with foundation. They sometimes even turned to cosmetologists in order to get rid of them, whereas today, “the sunkissed” girls with these adorable freckles attract everyone. Some even began to use special cosmetics and methods to draw artificial freckles on their faces.

Foxy eyes

This trend requires effort and skills. In order to achieve such an almond-shaped eye section with an upper corner raised upwards, ladies paint them with cosmetics on their own or with the help of cosmetologists.

Some even undergo plastic surgeries in order to achieve such a result.

Small breasts

Today, small breasts appeared in trend. Those ladies who always tried to prove whose breasts were bigger now calmed down.

Artificial forms are out of fashion and natural beauty is appreciated.

And by the way

Linguists have carried out interesting research on what roots the perception of beauty have in other languages and nations.

For example, in Greece, the perception of beauty is called “kalos” which means “fair”.

The Latin “bellus” means “war”, that’s why people should fight for beauty according to them.

The Slavs have the word “krada” with the meaning “to steal”. Beauty was considered something dangerous and destructive.
