“Once a media sensation, now explores tunnels and paints” 😯🦧 Michael Jackson’s iconic pet, Bubbles, now 41, lives a life of luxury at a sanctuary 🤭🤯 See what makes Bubbles’ life so fascinating in the article below 👇
Michael Jackson’s pet chimpanzee, Bubbles, is celebrating his 41st birthday at an animal sanctuary. This milestone comes on the 15th anniversary of the pop star’s death, marking a poignant moment in Bubbles’ golden years.
Michael Jackson got Bubbles from a Hollywood trainer in 1986. During Jackson’s life, Bubbles made numerous appearances on TV, in movies, and music videos, and even traveled with the singer to Japan. After Michael’s death in 2009, his estate made sure Bubbles continued to be well cared for. Jackson’s lawyer and family members have regularly visited Bubbles at the sanctuary.
Bubbles now lives at the Center for Great Apes in Wauchula. At 41, he is savoring his senior years with ample room to explore tunnels, build nests in trees, take naps, and even engage in painting. Since chimpanzees typically live 50 to 60 years in captivity, Bubbles is currently in his senior phase.
Weighing 180 pounds, Bubbles receives regular check-ups and top-notch care from the sanctuary staff. His friendly demeanor makes him popular with visitors and other animals, and he has always been treated well.
While Michael Jackson’s music sometimes plays at the sanctuary, Bubbles doesn’t show a particular preference for it over other music.
