Seeing a clever idea using a plastic bottle over the fence, I couldn’t resist trying it myself! 🏃♂️💨 It’s amazing how such a simple thing can be so useful. Now, my neighbors are the ones sneaking glances over! 🔗🛠 Find out how to make it in the article👇
I noticed a clever idea using a plastic bottle over my neighbor’s fence and rushed home to try it myself! It’s amazing how many useful things you can create from plastic bottles, and this idea is a fantastic way to reuse them.
In the right hands, even a simple bottle can become a tool for creativity.
When I saw my neighbor’s homemade invention, I couldn’t resist trying to copy it. The first step was to make some markings on the bottle.
The result was a kind of “pocket.”
Then, I took a knife and carefully cut along the lines. It’s best to use a craft knife for this, but the key is to be precise.
After that, I trimmed the “wings,” leaving about 10 mm of material.
The next step was to plug in an old iron—though a new one works fine too, and don’t worry, it won’t get damaged. I used it to heat the edges of the plastic so they would curl into smooth tubes.
Then, I took some black plastic ties—they’re great because they can withstand UV rays and cold weather.
Using a soldering iron, I made a few holes and passed the ties through them. This was my way of attaching everything, but you can choose a different method if you like.
Once everything was ready, I filled my new feeder with seeds, fixed it in a convenient spot, and enjoyed the sight of birds flocking to it. According to statistics, a feeder can go through up to 1 kg of seeds per day!
It’s a simple but satisfying way to do a good deed. Wishing everyone the best of luck and good health!
