But just as they were about to sign the final documents, they discovered a very unusual feature—one that completely changed their minds.
The architect who designed the house clearly loved unique ideas. So much so that the staircase leading to the second floor ended up being a massive, zigzag-shaped structure made of square platforms stacked high. To climb or descend the stairs, you’d need to stay 100% focused just to avoid a dangerous misstep.
What was meant to be an eye-catching design quickly turned into a red flag. The couple decided not to move forward with the purchase and began looking for another home.
