A frightening incident in South Africa has gone viral after an elephant attacked a safari vehicle full of tourists, lifting the truck several times and putting lives in danger.
The dramatic scene unfolded in Pilanesberg National Park and was captured on camera by Hendry Blom. In the clip, the driver can be heard shouting at the elephant and trying to scare it away. Moments later, the massive animal finally backed off.

“We were scared, especially for the tourists in the truck because we thought they might die,” Blom said after witnessing the event. Another video filmed from inside the vehicle shows terrified passengers crouching on the floor, visibly shaken.
According to reports, the elephant became aggressive after being surrounded by tourists taking numerous photos. While no one was injured, one family was offered psychological counseling after being left traumatized by the experience.
