He dreamed of looking like a comic book supervillain — and went to extreme lengths to make it happen. 💀 A 37-year-old man from Venezuela underwent dozens of surgeries, spent nearly $40,000, and even cut off his nose to become the real-life Red Skull. 😱 Today, he shares his “before” photos and rare pictures with his son — and they evoke a flood of mixed emotions. 📸 See what he looked like before, and how his son looks now, in the story below 👇

Here’s what the comic book villain looks like:

Henry Rodriguez, a 37-year-old from Venezuela, decided to fulfill his childhood dream — to transform into one of Marvel’s most recognizable villains, the Red Skull. The process took several years and almost $40,000.

To achieve the resemblance, Henry went through dozens of painful procedures: tattooing his face and eyes, implanting subdermal implants, and even removing part of his nose. In total, his transformation took about seven years and 130 hours in the surgeon’s chair. The finishing touch was a split tongue, which made his appearance truly terrifying.

Rodriguez admits that he has loved comic books since childhood and always admired this character. He says his goal isn’t shock value, but self-expression. “I don’t share the character’s beliefs, but I’ve always liked his strength, courage, and appearance,” Henry explains.

Despite his shocking looks, Henry remains a loving father. He’s raising his three-year-old son, who, he says, accepts him just the way he is. “As long as my son loves me, nothing else matters,” Rodriguez confesses.

At first, his family struggled to accept his decision, but eventually came to terms with it. Henry says he now feels happy and free. “I finally look the way I’ve always wanted. Let the world react however it wants — I’m staying true to myself.”
