This creative man built a 4×4 house as he couldn’t afford to pay rents.
At first sight, this unusual house looks tiny, cramped and uncomfortable compared with the others next to it. It is, believe it or not, only 4×4 meters.
Whereas this so-called “matchbox” now houses a family consisting of two adults and a child. Besides, the house has absolutely all the necessities for living in it: a bedroom, a toilet, a kitchen, a living-room, a pantry and even a balcony. It is worth mentioning that the miniature house is heated in winter and ventilated in summer so people can actually live there permanently.
According to its owners, having such a small house requires much less money than renting a normal and unusual one.
Perhaps, none of you can imagine how people actually live there but when entering the house, it becomes quite clear. The “matchbox” has relatively high ceilings so the place is separated by four levels.
On the first level, there is the entrance hall with a closet, and a toilet and a shower, One the second one, there is the small kitchen with a fridge and sink. In the same place, there is the pantry where the washing machine and the boiler are. The next floors are the sleeping quarters.
No matter what people say, there is still not much space so when they are free, the mother and son choose to spend their leisure time with their grandparents while the father keeps building a big house. The main advantage of dwelling in this kind of a house is tangible savings which the family really needs at the moment.
