The family has been living on the island they built themselves for 29 years
The quarantine and lockdown led a number of people to understand how it actually was to be kept in complete isolation. Whereas this extraordinary and creative family has been living on the island they themselves built for already 29 years. In fact, they created their own civilization.
These admirable spouses, Katrine and Wayne created their own island and began to live there which is simply incredible.
At the end of the previous century, the family sold all their property and left everything behind in order to create their own place isolated from others.
The man collected required material out of wood for the basis. They managed to build a stable island on which they and the coming generations could live without facing any threats and problems.
As a result, the island has a big house, a greenhouse with fruit and vegetables, a dance floor, an art gallery as well as solar panels. Wayne managed to design plumbing as well.
The family eventually reached their goal and now they are totally isolated from the world dwelling on their own island.
They don’t allow tourists to visit their home and there are no organized tours on the island.
