The family is proud of the little hero, and the latter says he simply could not do otherwise.
“That day, Azamat came to the village to call on his grandmother. He played on the riverside with local kids. A girl named Milana who was 13, was not able to swim but made up her mind to jump into the river in order to check the depth. But the water did not accept this trial, and the girl sank to the bottom. Happily, my son did not get out and jumped after her,” said Elsa, the mother of the young hero.
“The depth is approximately four meters, and he was not frightened, he jumped after the girl.”
The boy grabbed Milana by the hair and dragged her ashore. At that moment, the elders came to the rescue as well. They assisted the little savior to pull the girl out of the river.
“We brought Milana to the shore. The girl swallowed a lot of water. We brought her to a conscious state. Happily, she wasn’t damaged,” Elsa said.
The boy’s mother confidently said that Azamat was a fighter by nature. He is serious about sports and goes to the wrestling faculty. And not so long ago, he took third place in the Sabantu competition. The family is proud of the little hero, and the boy says that he simply could not do otherwise.
