One day, Maria found an old armchair and saw potential in it, despite its shabby look. Although she wasn’t skilled in crafts or repairs, she decided to take on the project of transforming it into a stylish and useful piece of furniture.
Maria started by taking the chair apart. She figured out that she needed 2 meters and 40 centimeters of fabric. Initially, she chose olive-colored fabric but later added a bright purple for a pop of color.
Wanting to keep the original side covers of the chair, Maria put her energy into improving the cushions. She decided to add a contrasting edge using a 5 mm cord she bought from a hardware store and some leftover fabric.
Maria also carefully treated the chair’s legs with special oil and wax to make them look and last better.
In the end, Maria turned the old armchair into a stunning centerpiece for any room.
