American singer, actress, and designer Jessica Simpson recently shared a rare picture of herself with her now much-taller son on her personal blog. In the post, Jessica proudly pointed out that her 11-year-old son, Ace, has already outgrown her in height.
Jessica has been with her husband, former NFL player Eric Johnson, since 2010. The pair exchanged vows on July 5, 2014, and have gone on to welcome three kids: son Ace, daughter Maxwell Drew, who is now 12, and Birdie Mae, 5 now.
Jessica has previously spoken openly about gaining almost 100 pounds while expecting her third child. She admitted feeling uncomfortable in her body and feared she might never return to her pre-pregnancy figure. But within a year, the singer managed to lose the extra weight.
Jessica proudly shared that she achieved “amazing” results and even fit back into her old jeans from before she had her first child. She credits a strict diet, which included cutting out gluten, and a tough workout routine for her success. According to Jessica, her husband’s constant support was crucial—he kept her motivated, especially during those moments when she doubted herself or felt discouraged.
