A two-year-old bull from Brazil decided to take an unexpected turn in life—and it paid off! His story is a perfect example of why sometimes following your impulses can lead to surprising outcomes.
This adventurous bull lived on a private farm in New Granada and was originally destined for slaughter. However, just hours before his scheduled fate, he took off on an unexpected journey. Whether it was curiosity, boredom, or just a need to cool off, he wandered off the pasture and ended up in a nearby water park.
But he didn’t just stroll around—he decided to have some real fun. With determination, he climbed the concrete stairs leading to the water slide. To the astonishment of his owner, the bull confidently made his way to the top and, despite there being no water in the slide at the time, slid down the twisting plastic tunnel.
The owner of the water park was both shocked and worried. Initially, he planned to film the unusual visitor, but his excitement quickly turned into concern for the structure’s safety. The slide was designed to hold up to 200 kilograms, but the bull clearly exceeded that limit.
Fortunately, the slide remained intact, but the oversized thrill-seeker didn’t quite fit into the turn and ended up getting stuck midway. It took four people, along with the bull’s exhausted owner, to free him. Farmer Carlos Serante had been informed by local kids that his bull was testing out a water attraction, so he arrived prepared with a rope. After some effort, they managed to push the stuck bull down into the pool, from where he was safely pulled out and returned to the farm.
However, the bull’s unexpected adventure earned him a new fate. Impressed by his boldness, the owner decided to spare him and even gave him a fitting name—Tobog, after the word “toboggan” (slide).
As it turned out, the entire scene had been captured on video, and once it made its way online, Tobog became an instant internet sensation. People everywhere started following his story, and the water park received an unexpected wave of publicity, making it a win-win for everyone—especially Tobog!
