Jared Leto may look like a romantic, but beneath the surface, his personality is as strong and steadfast as a rock.
He was recently a guest on the Joe Wylie show, aired on the UK’s prominent Radio 2 station, where he disclosed an unexpected fact about himself.
When asked if any songs have ever moved him to tears, The actor disclosed that he hasn’t shed a single tear in almost 17 years.
“The last time I cried was when I stubbed my big toe. Honestly, I’m like a lizard. Maybe my tear ducts don’t work properly. Or maybe I ran out of tears after filming ‘Requiem for a Dream’? I cried so much back then,” Leto humorously explained.
But Jared wasn’t on the show just to share this quirky story. His visit was to introduce 30 Seconds To Mars’ sixth studio album, It’s the End of the World But It’s a Beautiful Day, which is slated to drop this September.
It’s worth noting that the band hasn’t treated their fans to new music in almost five years.
