This old apartment got a complete makeover, and now it looks so modern and stylish that anyone would want to move in 😍❤️🔥 The transformation is unbelievable—everything changed, down to the smallest details 🏠🔥 Sharing the before and after photos in the article below 👇
Imagine an apartment where history feels alive in every detail. There is no modern furniture here, only carefully preserved pieces from the past—an elegant chandelier from the 80s, restored armchairs from the GDR of the 60s, and stunning chairs made in Prague more than 60 years ago.
The new owner of this unique retro-style home is a young woman who, together with a designer, gave the old apartment a fresh start. Before the renovation, it was just an ordinary three-room space with worn-out parquet, faded wallpaper, and peeling paint.
But she decided to renovate while keeping the charm of the past.
Now her apartment is filled with locally sourced furniture, vintage items, and unique pieces created from the designer’s sketches.
“I put my soul into this project,” says the designer. “The interior turned out to be very atmospheric, and I am glad that the apartment has wonderful owners.”
Let’s take a virtual tour of this unique apartment.
The living room combines olive and salmon colors.
There are vintage Hera chairs from the GDR from the 60s.

The kitchen is separate from the living room.
It has a wide opening, creating a social effect.

The kitchen set was custom-made in a carpentry workshop.
The bedroom is decorated in calm beige colors.
It has an unusual bay window and contains a spacious dressing room.
A large, comfortable bed sits in the center, making the space feel cozy and elegant.
The bathroom is decorated with tiles similar to those in the kitchen.
It has a bathtub instead of a shower and is complemented with stylish accessories.
The hallway is equipped with a spacious closet for outerwear, helping keep the space organized and functional.
This retro apartment is a true portal to the past. It charms with its atmosphere and reminds you of the value of vintage items.
