If you’re tired of making “Olivier” salad over and over again, I recommend trying this new recipe. It’s filling, delicious, and we don’t use heavy potatoes — which is already a big plus compared to many traditional salads.

Here’s what you’ll need:

– 300 g of cooked meat (you can use chicken breast, but I prefer veal)
– 2 large bell peppers (use different colors if you can)
– 1/2 can of green peas
– 4 boiled eggs
– 1 small onion
– 100 ml of boiling water
– A pinch of salt
– 150 g of hard cheese
– 100 g of sour cream
– 1 teaspoon of spicy mustard
– 1 tablespoon of vinegar
– 1 teaspoon of sugar

How to make the “Prelest” salad:

Slice the onion into half-rings. Sprinkle with sugar, then pour vinegar and boiling water over it. Mix and leave to marinate for 30 minutes.

Cut the meat and bell peppers into thin strips. Dice the eggs and cheese into small cubes. Combine everything in a bowl, then add the peas and the drained onions.

For the dressing, mix sour cream with salt and mustard. If you like, you can also add a bit of lemon juice and black pepper for extra flavor. Pour the dressing over the salad and mix everything well.

Let the salad sit for about 30 minutes so all the flavors can blend. Then enjoy this tasty and different dish. Happy cooking!
