The Stocky Squirrel Filled the Car With 70 Kilograms of Nuts

The Chevrolet Avalanche of a 56-year-old American Bill Fisher become a storehouse of winter supplies for an enterprising squirrel once every two years.

A North Dakota resident discovered his transport’s exceptional appeal to the surrounding squirrels back in 2013.

Then, returning from a four-day business trip he didn’t immediately realize how the nuts had got under the hood. But the riddle was soon resolved. There is a large walnut tree between the neighboring houses on the street.

Once every two years the cute squirrel gives a bountiful harvest which is mostly taken away by household proteins.  Several years have passed since the very first time that the animals took a fancy to Fischer’s pickup truck as a storeroom.

But the squirrels invariably use Bill’s truck exclusively. He has already tried to park the car in another place away from the unfortunate nut but despite the fact that there are several other cars near the tree the squirrels still find his Chevrolet Avalanche.

This story repeats itself every two years because the American resigned himself and just checks the hood before using the car. It must be said that the squirrels have done a particularly good job this year. Bill had to fish almost seventy kilograms of nuts from under the hood.

The man believes that the squirrels’ interest in his car stems from the design features of the pickup. Animals can easily get to the motor from the body with their size through the guides of the frames. And there is plenty of room for squirrel stocks under the hood.
