When spring finally comes after months of cold and grey days, the sun starts shining again, flowers begin to bloom, and we naturally want to surround ourselves with lighter and brighter things.

This feeling isn’t just about clothes or how we look — it also affects what we cook and serve to others.

So today, we want to share a recipe for a fresh, light, and tasty salad called Freshness. It’s perfect for spring celebrations and might just become your new favorite.

Here’s what you’ll need:

– 150 g of hard cheese
– 1 fresh cucumber
– 4 boiled eggs
– 1 green sour apple
– 1 can of corn
– Mayonnaise

How to make it:

You can serve this salad the simple way — just mix everything in a bowl and put it in a deep dish. But if you want to make it look special, like a salad “cake,” it will definitely catch people’s attention and bring you lots of compliments.

Start by placing a metal ring on a flat serving plate. Lightly brush the inside with some neutral vegetable oil. The first layer will be chopped crab sticks mixed with a little mayonnaise. Spread it evenly.

Next, grate the egg whites and add them as the second layer. Save the yolks for later. Spread some mayonnaise over the whites too.

For the third layer, add thin strips of apple. After that, sprinkle on the grated cheese and spread some more mayonnaise. Now place the cucumber slices in a layer, followed by the corn. Add a bit of mayonnaise to this layer as well.

To finish, decorate the top with the crushed egg yolks and a few vegetables if you like. Feel free to switch up the order of the layers — it won’t affect the flavor, so go with whatever you prefer.
