Who Knew Cabbage Could Do This? I Made a Mountain of Cutlets and Couldn’t Stop Eating

🥬 Cabbage cutlets — who would’ve thought they could be this delicious? 😋 I made a whole bunch, but looks like our family will finish them all in just one day! 🏃‍♂️🍽️ 📌 I’ve shared the recipe at the bottom of the article — don’t miss it!👇

Tasty cutlets can be made not only from ground meat but also from regular vegetables. Today, I want to share a recipe for soft and juicy cabbage cutlets.

Here’s what you’ll need:

– 500 g of cabbage
– 1 carrot
– 1 onion
– 2 eggs
– 500 ml of thick kefir
– 400 g of flour
– Salt, black pepper, and optional herbs for flavor

How to make cabbage cutlets:

Finely chop the onion (the smaller, the better) and grate the carrot. Lightly fry them in a pan using neutral sunflower oil.

Next, finely slice the cabbage and add it to the pan with the other vegetables. Cook everything under a lid for about 20 minutes, stirring from time to time so it doesn’t stick.

Once the vegetable mixture has cooled down, add the eggs, salt, pepper, herbs (if using), and flour. Mix everything well until you get a thick dough. Shape the dough into cutlets.

Fry the cutlets on both sides until they are golden and crispy.

I love serving these with sour cream sauce. Last time, I mixed grated cheese into the dough — and the result was incredibly tasty!

Enjoy cooking and have fun in the kitchen!
