Now a Living Work of Art, He Was Once Just a Regular Guy—See Germany’s ‘Most Handsome Man’ Before the Glam

“He turned pain into glitter and became a living doll.” Behind Harald Glööckler’s crowns and rhinestones is a dark past—and a transformation that left fans speechless. You have to see his before-and-after photos in the article below 👇

Harald Glööckler, a well-known fashion designer from Germany, may be famous for his love of glitter, crowns, and luxury — but behind all the sparkle is a very sad story.

His childhood was far from perfect. When Harald was just 14, his mother died in a tragic accident. According to the official report, she fell down the stairs. But Harald believes it wasn’t an accident — he thinks his father was responsible.

From a young age, Harald was passionate about art and fashion. In 1987, he opened his first clothing shop with a business partner. He quickly became known for creating bold, glamorous outfits full of gold, sequins, rhinestones, and royal flair.

His signature look? Over-the-top glamour with no room for anything boring.

He later launched his brand POMPÖÖS, based on his belief that every woman deserves to feel like a princess.

Soon, his designs were featured on TV shopping channels and fashion runways. Harald himself became a regular on German television, known for his extravagant image and confident personality.

Over the years, Harald dramatically changed his appearance through beauty treatments and plastic surgery.

He’s often called “Germany’s most beautiful man” — a title that refers to his porcelain-like, doll-inspired look. He’s open about using Botox, facelifts, implants, and more to achieve his current appearance.

Harald has changed his nose, lips, cheekbones, and even added hair and eyelash extensions. Many say he looks like a living porcelain doll — and he doesn’t mind that at all.

“I wasn’t born into a fairytale,” he says. “I created one for myself.”

Old photos of Harald show a completely different person — a simple young man with short hair and a natural face. In the 1990s, he started wearing more dramatic outfits and makeup. From there, his transformation only became more intense.
