Angelina Jolie has filed a new lawsuit against Brad Pitt, reigniting the conflict surrounding the legendary French winery Château Miraval.
According to media reports, the actress is demanding $33,000 in legal fees from her ex-husband and revealing details that have left fans of the couple holding their breath once again.

According to the 50-year-old star, she voluntarily allowed Pitt to live in their homes in Los Angeles and Miraval without compensation — wanting to support him during a “difficult and traumatic period” after the breakup. But this gesture of goodwill was the beginning of a completely different story.
Jolie stated that neither she nor the children had returned to Miraval since the divorce — too many painful memories were associated with the place. It was there, according to the actress, that the cracks that destroyed their marriage began.

She also emphasized that she had invested all her savings in the estate, but after the divorce, she did not demand alimony or financial assistance from Pitt. Moreover, in 2017, Jolie offered to buy out his share and settle the matter amicably — but Pitt refused.
“I was concerned about the children’s well-being. That’s why I gave up work for almost two years to devote myself to their welfare,” the actress explained.

Now Pitt claims that the sale of her share in 2022 was illegal and could not have taken place without his consent. Jolie insists on the opposite: she did not need permission, and the deal was completely legal.
So it becomes clear that the war over Miraval is far from over.
The estate where they once exchanged vows has become a symbol of their cold war — and neither side is willing to back down.
