The famous couple publicly celebrated their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, as he turned 27, showing their support despite the widely discussed rift said to be affecting the family.
David Beckham, 50, took to his Instagram Stories to mark the day, sharing several old photos of Brooklyn from earlier years. In one of the posts, he also tagged his wife Victoria and used the affectionate nickname he has called his son since childhood.
“Today you turn 27. Happy birthday, Bust. We love you,” the former football legend wrote.
Shortly afterward, Victoria Beckham reposted the same photo on her own account and added a heartfelt message of her own. “Happy birthday, Brooklyn — we love you dearly,” the fashion designer wrote in her post.
She later posted another nostalgic snapshot, this time showing her cradling Brooklyn when he was just a baby, decorating the heartfelt post with several red heart emojis. However, one detail did not go unnoticed: the Beckhams were unable to tag their son in the posts because Brooklyn had previously blocked them on social media.
The public birthday messages quickly sparked intense discussion online. Many users pointed out that the posts seemed to contradict Brooklyn’s earlier request for space.
In previous statements, Brooklyn reportedly asked his parents to leave him alone as tensions within the family escalated.
