Rourke didn’t fight the case. According to court documents, he failed to respond in time, which led to a direct decision — he had to leave the property. The ruling focused only on the eviction itself, not on any additional compensation.
The situation had already reached a breaking point earlier. In December, the court ordered him to either pay $59,100 in overdue rent or leave within three days. By January, he was seen moving out, with a U-Haul truck parked outside as he carried his belongings away. Since then, he has reportedly been staying in a luxury hotel in West Hollywood, where nightly rates start at around $550.
But it’s not just his living situation that people are talking about. His recent public appearance has also drawn attention. Spotted not long after leaving the house, Rourke looked noticeably different from how people remember him. The change in his appearance quickly became a topic of discussion online, with many pointing out how far he now looks from his earlier Hollywood image. And then came another unexpected twist.
A fundraiser appeared online, aiming to raise $100,000 to help him with the situation. But Rourke reacted immediately, making it clear he had nothing to do with it.
