Meghan Markle quietly returned to the United Kingdom during a stop on her way back to Los Angeles from Geneva, marking one of her rare appearances in the country in recent years.
The 44-year-old Duchess of Sussex has spent very little time in Britain since stepping away from royal life. Her last major visit was in 2022, when she attended Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral alongside Prince Harry.

She did briefly pass through the UK again in 2024 while traveling to Nigeria, but reportedly remained only inside a VIP airport lounge for a few hours.
This latest stop quickly caught attention online because Meghan rarely shares anything connected to Britain anymore.

During the trip, she also posted a personal photo from her journey through Heathrow Airport.
Meghan shared a handwritten note she received from the airline crew while flying back to the United States after leaving Switzerland. Alongside the image, she thanked the staff warmly for their kindness and support.

“Thank you to this wonderful crew for all the love you gave me yesterday! I appreciate these memories and your kind words,” she wrote.
The simple airport interaction quickly sparked discussion online, with many people surprised to see Meghan publicly posting about the UK again after such a long absence.
