Sylvester Stallone had an especially personal reason to celebrate this week as his eldest daughter, Sophia, officially turned 30. The Hollywood star marked the milestone publicly with a touching tribute showing just how much his firstborn has changed over the years.
The 80-year-old actor shared two very different images of Sophia. Alongside a recent portrait of his grown-up daughter, Stallone included a nostalgic childhood photo, giving fans a rare glimpse of her as a little girl.

“For 30 years I’ve been proud of you. Happy birthday to my wonderful daughter Sophia. We always love you,” the actor wrote, making it clear just how proud he remains of his eldest child.

Sophia is Stallone’s first daughter with his wife, model Jennifer Flavin. The couple later welcomed two more daughters, Sistine and Scarlet, and the three sisters have grown up surrounded by the attention that inevitably comes with having one of Hollywood’s most recognizable action stars as their father.

Stallone and Flavin’s own relationship stretches back decades. Their story began after a chance meeting at a restaurant, before their paths crossed again during the filming of Rocky V. Despite a 22-year age difference, their romance developed into a long-term relationship.

The actor didn’t immediately rush toward marriage, however. By the time Stallone and Flavin finally exchanged vows, they had already welcomed Sophia into the world.
Now that their eldest daughter has reached 30, Stallone’s birthday tribute offered a particularly nostalgic look at how much time has passed — from Sophia’s childhood years to the woman she is today.
