For the evening, Parker chose a delicate semi-sheer pink dress with an ethereal, feminine feel. The soft color and flowing fabric gave the actress the kind of whimsical fashion moment that her famous on-screen alter ego would undoubtedly appreciate.
Her hairstyle was just as impossible to overlook. Parker wore her hair in an extraordinarily long braid that fell almost to her knees, finishing it with a ribbon. *Vogue* described the overall look as romantic and also highlighted the unusual coloring technique visible in her hair.
Yet the actress wasn’t the only one attracting attention. Standing beside her was Matthew Broderick, marking a rare public appearance for the longtime couple after they had largely stayed away from red carpets together in recent times.
Parker and Broderick have been married for almost 30 years. Despite the length of their relationship, some viewers admitted they had only recently realized that Broderick was actually the actress’s husband.
