Amber Heard has reached a personal milestone at 40, completing the first half marathon of her life. The actress shared photos from the race in San Sebastián, northern Spain, giving followers a glimpse of herself tackling the demanding distance.
Heard covered the full 21 kilometers in an impressive 1 hour and 39 minutes. She proudly marked the achievement on her personal blog, posting several moments captured during the run.
After crossing the finish line, the actress also had a message for the city that hosted the event. “Eskerrik asko Donosti!” she wrote in Basque, meaning “Thank you very much, Donostia,” the Basque name for San Sebastián.
The pictures showed a noticeably different setting from the Hollywood appearances that once surrounded Heard. Instead of an evening gown and red carpet, she appeared in running gear while pushing herself through the Spanish race.
Heard relocated to Spain following her highly publicized 2022 legal battle with her former husband, Johnny Depp. She has since established a new life away from Hollywood’s constant spotlight.
The actress currently lives in Madrid with her three children: daughter Oonagh Paige and twins Agnes and Ocean, who were born in 2025. Her latest achievement offered a rare glimpse into the life she has built in Spain.
