Here is the world’s first sanctuary for dolphins!
Some of the wild animals are cruelly forced to be kept in captivity and perform funny tricks in front of thousands of spectators, yet their true nature requires appropriate environment, their natural habitat for their development as individuals. One conversation group in Greece desired to end this tyranny and stop people from taking advantage of those defenseless creatures. So here is the world’s first dolphin sanctuary in the northern side of the Island Lipsi and its main aim is to protect all captivated dolphins around the world.
They declared that they wanted to create the very first marine sanctuary to achieve their biggest goal and be the first country to defend those mammals by law over 2 thousands years ago.
There were also many groups that wanted to achieve the same result, yet they failed and all their efforts were unfortunately in vain. And this institute came up with an ingenious idea. They explained that there are more than two thousand dolphins kept in captivity and as it is actually proved by science, they, being extremely clever animals, possess sense of grief and sorrow being kept in such cruel conditions so they should be released.
The sanctuary had some places as deep as 130ft which will provide a temporary shelter for them to peacefully live until their natural instincts come back and they are ready to be released to oceans.
