An infrequent genetic mutation gave Pinky her exceptional dyeing, and the mother dolphin has been firmly gaining popularity ever since she was detected aboard Calcasier’s boat 12 years ago. Currently, she’s been detected with the same pink baby and their cuteness is just beyond belief.
Here are Pinky and a few other magnificent weirdos whose coloration makes them exceptional.
Just carry on swimming.

Captain Eric Roux, who premier time detected Pinky, said this creature was totally pink and had red eyes. The already unique dolphin is a river dolphin as well, a species listed as an imperiled species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and whose quantity carries on declining. In many ways, the birth of a pink baby will assist in increasing the population of this infrequent breed.
Kerry Sanchez, the senior lifeguard biologist at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, said. “In all the time I’ve been here, I’ve never witnessed such a creature.”
