This young family took on the challenge of transforming an old apartment. With outdated renovations from the grandmother’s time, dirty and worn-out, it seemed completely unlivable. However, with careful planning and smart budgeting, they managed to turn it into a cozy and modern home.
They decided to start the renovation with the kitchen. Since there was no proper kitchen set, the first thing they ordered was a corner unit. This provided plenty of storage space and made cooking much more convenient. The walls were tiled in soft beige shades, while the floor was finished with patterned tiles in a slightly different tone.
The dining area was furnished with a new table and chairs. Above them, a silver-plated lamp was installed. The combination of metal elements and neutral tones gave the kitchen a stylish and cohesive look.
The hallway leading from the kitchen to the living area was also updated. The flooring was matched with the kitchen tiles to create a seamless transition. The old built-in mezzanines were removed and replaced with a modern storage closet.
The main room underwent a complete transformation. New parquet flooring was installed, and the ceiling was redone. The walls were covered with elegant, light-colored wallpaper. Custom-made furniture was chosen to ensure a perfect fit and a harmonious design.
In the living area, a large sofa and a TV unit were placed. While the wall unit could have been replaced with a more modern alternative, it still blended well with the overall look of the space.
The biggest change happened in the bathroom. Previously combined with the toilet, the space was rusty and outdated. The first step of the renovation was removing all the old plumbing.
For the new design, they chose light sandy-colored tiles, which made the bathroom look fresh and clean. The new white sanitary fixtures complemented the background beautifully, completing the modern and polished look.
