A Hollywood star with Israeli roots made a bold statement about her ex-husband’s loss due to his affair. Natalie Portman looked incredibly sensual in a recent photoshoot, just a month after her divorce from French choreographer Benjamin Millepied, aged 46.

When asked if she often thinks about her past, the Oscar winner said, “I focus on the future, not on what’s behind, though certain themes, like the roles we play with others versus our true selves, often come up for me, especially the roles women are expected to play in different parts of their lives.” The Black Swan star shared that she is drawn to projects about women seeking independence and self-discovery. “The theme of women’s liberation and telling their own stories often appears in my work, not on purpose, but I realize it’s a recurring theme I’m drawn to,” she explained.
Portman finalized her divorce in France in March, ending a 12-year marriage. The former couple has two children, 12-year-old Aleph and 7-year-old Amalia. They lived in Benjamin’s home country for several years. Portman started the divorce process last July after reports of Benjamin’s involvement with a 25-year-old environmental activist named Camille Etienne, according to French media.
Millepied admitted to the affair, acknowledging his mistake, and expressed his efforts to seek Portman’s forgiveness and save their family, according to the Daily Mail. At first, Portman thought about forgiving her unfaithful husband but eventually realized she couldn’t trust him or handle the betrayal. A close friend of Natalie said that ending her marriage was very hard, but with the help of friends, she got through it.
