In his post, the man (AP) shared how he met his wife at 20. What started as a casual fling turned serious, eventually leading to marriage. Their relationship began with a one-night stand, which soon developed into something deeper.
When AP’s wife revealed she was pregnant, he chose to commit. He had grown up without a father and didn’t want his child to go through the same. Despite having doubts about the pregnancy’s timeline, he never brought it up. A few months later, he was deployed in the military and stayed true to his promises, keeping his doubts to himself. Twelve years passed, and the couple remained married.
The marriage, however, was more of an obligation. AP stayed for his son’s sake, never leaving his side. But one day, a chance encounter with an old friend changed everything.
