At 56 years old, Pamela Anderson seems to have made the decision to leave behind all artificial enhancements. In recent months, during several public appearances, the former Baywatch star has shown up with a fresh face, completely free of makeup, much to the delight of her fans.
Pamela has always been open about her past use of cosmetic surgery and aesthetic procedures. But now, she’s no longer interested in such treatments or getting any new injections—they never really suited her.
“I’ve tried Botox, I’ve tried different injections, but I haven’t touched that stuff in three or four years. My skin is too sensitive for it,” she shared with Allure magazine. “I once tried a Fraxel laser on my chest, and it turned my skin black. I was always scared of those treatments after that. I also had Botox that lifted my eyebrows, and I ended up looking like someone else…”
These bad experiences made her reflect on why she was doing such things: “I asked myself, ‘Why am I doing this?’ So now, I’m completely free of all that, and I finally look like myself again.”
Pamela Anderson will be turning 57 in 2024, but getting closer to sixty doesn’t stop her from feeling happy and comfortable with herself. In fact, she feels better than ever!
The former model doesn’t regret leaving behind the pressure she used to face when she was considered one of the sexiest women in the world. “It was really overwhelming. As a Playboy centerfold or a Bunny, people had their own expectations of me… but I didn’t want to know what those were,” she admitted. She also added, “I feel much more sensual in my own skin now… it’s more personal and vulnerable, like the way your partner sees you without makeup. I actually think it’s even sexier.”
She ended with a powerful statement: “If you live authentically, you don’t have to explain yourself to anyone. That’s the real secret.”
