60-year-old Tom Cruise has won three Golden Globes and been nominated for an Oscar three times.

He has already achieved a lot in his career, but the actor doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. In 2023, a new installment of the Mission: Impossible series will be released, where Tom will once again reprise his role as Ethan Hunt.

But that’s not enough for Cruise. Recently, one of his colleagues revealed that Tom is planning to film a movie in outer space.

Rumors that Tom wanted to shoot a movie on the International Space Station first surfaced in 2020. At the time, though, he was focused on Top Gun: Maverick. Now, the talks about filming in space are back on the table.

“Tom is taking us to space. He’s leading the world into space. We have an exciting project ahead. We’re going to the ISS for a real shootout,” said Donna Langley in an interview.

She explained that most of the movie would be filmed on Earth, but in the final act, the main character will have to travel into space to save the day.

The producer also expressed hope that this project will come to life soon.

Tom is already preparing for the trip, according to media reports, and has been working with renowned stuntman Jerry Maguire to make it happen.

Fans are excited to see Tom in upcoming films but are still hoping that, given his age, he’ll start relying more on stunt doubles. Despite being 60, Cruise still performs most of his stunts himself.
