53-year-old Matthew McConaughey recently went through an incredibly stressful experience involving his wife, Camila Alves.
Camila was dangerously close to losing her life during a frightening incident on a Lufthansa flight. The plane, which was flying from Austin to Frankfurt, had to make an emergency landing in Virginia after serious problems occurred mid-flight.
It was later revealed that the passengers, including Camila, narrowly escaped a tragedy.
Camila shared a video on social media showing the chaos inside the cabin after the emergency.
According to her account, while flying over Tennessee, the plane suddenly dropped nearly a kilometer in seconds due to severe turbulence. Eyewitnesses said the turbulence was so intense that it felt like the plane was falling apart in the sky.
Fortunately, the crew managed to make an emergency landing at a nearby airport, though it was a rough landing. Thirty-six passengers were injured, and seven had to be taken to the hospital.
Despite the intense fear and stress, Matthew is relieved that Camila is unharmed. While the news of the emergency shook him, he is grateful that his wife is safe.
