JLo and Affleck have formally ended their marriage, five months after their surprising split. This happened on their second anniversary of marriage.
Lopez, 55, and Affleck, 52, who tied the knot in 2022, will finalize their divorce on February 20. Both will keep what they gained during their brief marriage, according to DailyMail.com.
The couple has also decided to purchase a $61 million mansion in Beverly Hills, but details of the deal remain private. They did not sign a prenuptial agreement when they married. Their combined wealth was $550 million, with Lopez’s share being $400 million.
Affleck will retain his stake in Artists Equity, a production company he co-established in 2022 with his long-time friend Matt Damon. The arrangement, facilitated by renowned celebrity attorney Laura Wasser, also allows Lopez to remove Affleck’s last name.
