When Every Step Counts: How 30 Meters Was Stretched, Bent, and Broken to Create a ‘Perfect’ Home

🏚 I used to think that an old apartment was a hopeless box ❌ But look what the owner did—tore it apart, squeezed in a bedroom, and turned 30 meters into a sleek hideout 🛋🛏  You won’t believe what’s behind that door… 👀🚪✨ See more photos in the article below ⬇️

We want to show you an example of how an old one-room apartment can be turned into a fresh, modern home.

The owner of this apartment, Pavel, made big changes. He turned the only room into a kitchen and living room combined, making the space feel open and roomy.

Look at the picture below—it was taken from the same spot as the photo above. You can see how much has changed.

In the evening, small ceiling lights make the place feel warm and cozy. A mirror on the wall not only looks nice when it reflects the light, but it also makes the room seem bigger than it is.

The kitchen has a clean, modern style with white cabinets and a white backsplash. Black furniture details give it a smart look, balancing cleanliness with style.

Pavel says moving the kitchen is allowed if the room below is not someone else’s home.

There was a corner that used to be empty. Now, it’s a small workspace with a laptop desk.

Moving the kitchen made space for a separate bedroom—a great idea!

A decorative ladder on the wall is not just for looks; it can be used to hang clothes.

The small bedroom turned out cozy, and they even managed to fit a bedside table.

The bathroom got a makeover too. The old bathtub was replaced with a shower, and the washing machine was neatly fitted into the space.

The hallway is also new. A big mirror and white walls help make it look bigger and brighter.

A small walk-in closet was added. It’s perfect for storing clothes, an ironing board, and other household items.

Near the entrance, there is a simple coat rack for jackets.

Finally, a floor plan shows the new layout. Everything fits nicely into the 30 square meters.

What do you think about this makeover? Do you like the new look, or would you prefer the old layout?
