This chair had been sitting in our home for almost 3️⃣0️⃣ years 😲 It was falling apart with a huge hole in the center 😢 I almost threw it out… but then I decided to do something unexpected 🥰 After a few days of work, it was totally transformed 😍 Want to see how it turned out? Find out in the article below ⬇️
This chair had been a part of our home for many years. It had seen holidays, quiet family nights, and countless conversations in the kitchen.
But over time, it had worn down – the brown finish faded, and the legs squeaked with every movement. There was a big hole in the middle, and it was in rough shape. But I just couldn’t bring myself to throw it away.
So, I decided to restore it. The process took a few days. First, I had to remove the old paint and clean the surface, then I fixed the loose parts. The hole remained in the middle of the chair.
Once the chair was solid and smooth, I moved on to the fun part – painting.
The white paint made it look brand new, fresh, and elegant. But it still needed something. So, I added small rose stickers.
I printed out pictures, trimmed the edges so they wouldn’t show, and then stuck them on. Finally, I gave the whole chair a coat of varnish.
Now, I have a much fresher, more vintage-looking chair for the room.
It’s become a charming decoration. It looks cozy and gentle, and most importantly, the history of our home lives on in it, just now looking beautiful and new.
