I really love these cookies. You only need a few ingredients, and the result is so tasty that you’ll want to lick your fingers!

What you’ll need:

200 g of butter

200 g of flour

5–6 tablespoons of thick sour cream

A pinch of salt

Some jam

I take the butter out of the fridge and let it sit at room temperature. Once it softens, I mix in the sour cream. Then, little by little, I add the flour. I also throw in a pinch of salt while mixing in the flour.

The dough should be soft but not sticky. If it feels sticky, just add a little more flour until it feels right.

Then I roll out the dough into a flat sheet and cut it into small squares. In the center of each square, I add a spoonful of jam — make sure the jam is thick so it doesn’t leak out. After that, I fold all four corners of the square toward the middle to make a little envelope.

Bake them in the oven for just 15 minutes at 200°C (about 390°F). And that’s it — delicious homemade cookies are ready to enjoy!
