We Turned a Basic 47 m² Apartment Into a Dream Home for a Young Woman — Here’s the Result

“Just 47 square meters — and the photos are stunning” 😍📸 What started as a basic one-room apartment is now a cozy, open-concept dream. From the soft green kitchen to the hidden bedroom nook, every corner is packed with smart, stylish design. Full transformation in the article below 👇

This 47 square meter studio isn’t just another well-done design project — it’s a space that reflects the owner’s wishes and personality. With ten months of work, full trust from the client, and bold ideas from the design team, this one-room apartment was completely transformed into a stylish and functional home.

The biggest change was removing the walls between the kitchen and living room. In their place is now one large, open space where cooking, dining, relaxing, and socializing can all happen together.

A part of the old wall was kept and turned into the back of the sofa — a smart way to divide the space without making it feel closed off.

The kitchen furniture is arranged in an L-shape, which leaves plenty of room to move around. There are no upper cabinets above the main kitchen counter, which helps keep the look light and uncluttered. Fun fact: they went through six different shades before picking the perfect green for the cabinet fronts!

Thanks to smart planning, a cozy bedroom was created in a niche. Heavy curtains can be pulled across to make it private, and soft lights above the bed add warmth and comfort.

There’s also extra storage: a wardrobe niche in the bedroom complements the main closet in the hallway, making it easy to organize clothes and other items.

The hallway stands out with two walls painted in rich terracotta, adding personality and charm to the entrance.

A mirror, a small shelf, a wall panel with hooks, and a comfy pouf make this area practical and pretty at the same time.

There’s also a built-in wardrobe tucked neatly into a niche — the door color was matched to the walls so it blends in almost invisibly.

The bathroom brings everything together with soft green tiles that match the kitchen fronts. A glass splash guard near the sink keeps water from getting everywhere, and the modern plumbing makes the space easy to use and clean.

This apartment shows how thoughtful planning, creativity, and trust between client and designer can turn a small, basic space into a warm and inviting home. Every corner of this studio feels personal, cozy, and truly one of a kind.
