Most of you remember this actor from his iconic role as Mike on «Growing Pains», one of the most popular sitcoms of 1980s. His incredible journey deserves our special attention. For his cult role he was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards which prove his versatility and superb acting.
At the beginning, he had a religious awakening at the age of 17 developing faith which had an impact on the decisions of his further life. It even inspired him to marry his co-star Ch. Noble at the age of 20 with whom he built a strong and exemplary family. The spouses raised 6 kids – 2 were biological and 4 adopted. The pair created a nurturing environment for their well-being supporting their values and interests. As his faith deepened, he started to distance himself from the mainstream of Hollywood. The star openly spoke about his Evangelical Christian beliefs and conservative views that no longer find their place in modern society.
