Jack Osbourne, the son of legendary rock icon Ozzy Osbourne, has spoken openly for the first time about his emotions and memories of his father’s final days. In a moving video, Jack recalled special moments with his family in the UK and described how meaningful that time was for all of them.
“My father passed away around 10 a.m. UK time. I was in Los Angeles at the time, where I had been for about a week. Before that, I spent a week with my kids at the family home in England after one of his shows — and it was incredible. My dad was in great spirits. Looking back now, I’m so grateful for that time. He was amazing, he was happy,” Jack remembered.
Sadly, not long after, Jack received the devastating news. “I woke up in Los Angeles at about 3:45 a.m. to someone knocking on my door. It was a longtime family friend who has been with us for over 30 years. The moment I saw him through the window, I knew something was wrong. That’s when I was told my father had passed away,” he shared.
Despite the deep grief, Jack found comfort in knowing that his father’s suffering was finally over. He explained that Ozzy left this world surrounded by the love of his family and closest friends. “I wish he was still here with us, but it was hard for him, and I think people could see that during the shows,” Jack said with emotion.
