On Tuesday, the Prince and Princess of Wales journeyed to Stirling for a special visit. Their first destination was the National Curling Academy, where they had the opportunity to meet athletes training for the upcoming Winter Olympics and Paralympics.

Curling, a highly successful sport in the UK, boasts an impressive record, with the Olympic and Paralympic teams having secured eight medals.

Known for their competitive spirit, William and Kate tried their hand at curling, facing each other under the guidance of experts.

Their second stop was at Radical Weavers, a tartan weaving studio, where the couple tried their hand at weaving. The pieces they created will be part of Radical Weavers’ latest project — the world’s longest scarf.

The royals also took the time to meet with people waiting outside the buildings. They exchanged pleasantries and answered questions.

Royal family members follow strict rules about their behavior and public image. Among these guidelines is a limitation on public displays of affection — tender gestures or overt signs of affection are not welcome during official appearances.

The couple also posed together for photos — and in some shots, you can see how the prince tenderly embraced his wife. A video surfaced showing the royal couple passing by the gathered crowd, discreetly touching hands. Such moments of affection between the couple are a rare sight!
