Denise Richards has stepped onto the red carpet with a noticeably transformed appearance — and she isn’t hiding how she achieved it. The 55-year-old actress has openly acknowledged turning to a plastic surgeon as part of her efforts to address visible signs of aging.
Richards showed off the results at the 2026 Daytime Beauty Awards in Los Angeles. She arrived in a sheer dress covered with delicate floral embroidery, but it was her remarkably smooth, refreshed-looking face that quickly became the biggest talking point.
There was another detail that made the appearance particularly fitting. Walking the carpet beside Richards was Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Ben Talei — the man responsible for much of her recent transformation.
Richards underwent an extensive deep-plane facelift performed by Talei. The procedure reportedly came with an eye-watering price tag of around $200,000, making her refreshed appearance a seriously expensive investment.
And the facelift wasn’t the only change. The actress also had her brows lifted, work performed on her upper eyelids and an adjustment to her upper lip as part of the overall transformation.
Her makeover reportedly included fat transfer as well, with fat taken from her thighs and transferred into areas of her face and neck to help create the final result.
Rather than keeping the work secret and leaving fans to speculate, Richards has been unusually open about taking the cosmetic route. And by appearing beside the surgeon himself on the red carpet, she put both her transformed face — and the man behind it — directly in front of the cameras.
