The usual walk ended with finding a best friend for Simone from South Africa. She found a little squirrel on the ground that needed care, and therefore could not pass by.
A Long Way
The squirrel is far from an understanding of an ordinary pet. If anyone has such furry friends in most cases they live in cages. Simone gave freedom to her friend. The squirrel spent whole days on the street, but constantly returned to the owner, it perceived her house as its own one. She was given the name Buffy.
As she matured, the situation changed a little. It has now become clear that the owner couldn’t avoid the replenishment. Her pregnancy ended in failure several times, but the third pregnancy ended with success and the girl had one more baby.
She has two squirrels now. She doesn’t keep them locked up.
Moreover, she hopes that the animals will eventually move to the forest to reunite with nature, but of course, till they return, Simone does not interfere with them. But, it’s hard to believe that pets will leave for self-support one day.
They have already acquired some habits. They are used to eat in warmth and also they are used to lots of food provided for them. And the obvious affection of the forest dwellers for the owner should not be overlooked. This is a true loyalty which deserves going against the rules of nature.
