A Grandma Saved a Little Wolf Cub and 2 Years Later He Thanked Her

Wild animals, as well as pets, do not forget the good things that people have done for them. For many years they remember how they were saved from trouble and keep gratitude in their souls.

Today we will tell you an amazing story about how a grandmother saved a little wolf cub and the cutie thanked her 2 years later.

A lonely grandmother lived in a remote village. Local residents had to heat their houses with firewood, which they harvested in the summer. Our heroine, like all the settlers, went to the forest every day and brought heavy bundles of brushwood from there. Once the grandmother went to get some firewood as usual. Seeing a fallen dead tree she began to break off the branches. At that moment, the woman heard some kind of crying. She saw a wolf cub caught in a trap by its paw. The grandmother felt sorry for the baby and helped him to free himself from the trap and the poor creature followed her. The grandmother couldn’t leave the sick wolf cub and took him with her. She first bandaged the baby’s sore foot and then fed him. The baby had been living with her for about two months until he was completely recovered. The woman became very attached to the small predator, but she understood that he must return to the wild, so she took him to the place where she was found.

Two years have passed since this story. Once in winter, the grandmother went to the forest to collect some brushwood, and she suddenly lost consciousness and fell. When she opened her eyes, she saw several puppies and a dog cuddling her. But then the grandmother understood that it was the very wolf with the babies. The woman was frightened and she screamed and the predators moved away from her and silently went into the forest. The granny noticed that the adult animal was limping. She realized that it was the wolf cub whom she rescued and she was only noticeably grown up. So the predator was able to thank the grandmother for the good things that the granny had done for him. Only thanks to the wolf, the woman did not freeze when she was lying unconscious.
