After they contacted the Uxbridge Police Department and the law enforcement officers soon arrived to take care of the puppies.

The police chief whose name is Jeff Laurie admitted that he didn’t understand people who could act so heartlessly with newborn puppies.

Thanks to their guardian angels all the rescued cuties are safe and sound.

They are taken into the care of the Uxbridge Animal Control Society where they are looked after, fed and treated.

After the incident the police was looking for a man who had been spotted in the area when the puppies were supposedly thrown into the water.

They also looked for people who would be ready to pick up the puppies when they were old enough.

Unfortunately the police said that it would be very difficult to catch the suspect.
