A ten-year-old catty named Ziggy doesn’t know what personal space is and she doesn’t even want to know about that!
About three years ago Rebecca May and her husband took a cute cat and her little sister home from a London shelter. At first Ziggy the cutie was a little shy but once she got used to it she showed her feelings. The baby is very attached to her new owners so it is very important for her to be close to dear people. More precisely, she likes sitting on them.
Before the owners have time to sit on the sofa the cutie immediately looks out for where to nestle. If Ziggy the catty doesn’t see free space she will still find a way to be closer to the owners.
Ziggy’s owners have begun to work more directly from home and this news delighted the cat so much that he immediately began to climb the computer table and keyboard that belonged to the owner. This has become a real problem for Rebecca since she needs free access to the device and the ability to answer calls.
The girl even put the cat’s bed right on the table so that she could be closer to her. But this wasn’t enough! Finally, Rebecca’s husband came up with a great idea because Ziggy loves to sit on the lap of the owners why not make the fake copies of them?
The young man took his pair of trousers, stuffed them with cotton so that they resembled real legs and then hid a warm heating pad inside then for greater persuasiveness. He stuck his trousers into tennis shoes and instead of a belly he attached a pillow.
And it really worked! Ziggy got on her knees and slept there for four hours and meanwhile the cutie’s owners were able to work quietly.
