About five years ago, architect Laura Clark stumbled upon this dilapidated basement. Her curiosity led her to explore the semi-basement, and despite its sorry state, she saw its potential. She envisioned transforming the neglected space into something extraordinary.

Armed with determination and £65,000, which covered the cost of the room, renovation, and paperwork, Laura set to work. In a remarkably short time, the ruins were transformed into a luxurious apartment. Visitors stepping inside are often incredulous, finding it hard to believe that this chic dwelling was once an abandoned lavatory.
Laura infused her unique touch throughout the space. The kitchen boasts top-of-the-line appliances, meticulously arranged to her preferences. The living room welcomes guests with an elegant coffee table, stylish cupboards, and a comfortable sofa. Remarkably, Laura chose grand arches instead of conventional doors, adding a touch of opulence to the ambiance.
The bathroom underwent a transformation as well, embracing minimalist design principles that enhance both its practicality and aesthetic appeal. Laura even incorporated a small room resembling a cozy retreat, complete with a suspended chair amidst a lush garden of flowers.
