Three years ago, Nick and Leela, an adventurous couple with a passion for unique views, took a road trip to West Virginia.
Nick, a photographer, and Leela, a designer, dreamed of living close to nature. Instead of buying an expensive house, they decided to build their own using window frames.
They carefully planned their project, searching for and purchasing window frames to create their unusual home.
Despite the unconventional choice, they managed to build it for just $500 in just 1.5 months with the help of friends. Inside, they installed a stove to keep warm and cook meals.
Leela used her design skills to make their new home stylish and cozy. Even though their house is secluded and can be a bit spooky at night, they love hosting guests and cherish their beautiful sunsets and starry skies. Their two dogs help keep watch over their special retreat.
